TOP OF THE WORST BEDC Benin City
ONE Customer Imasuen Ighodaro said BEDC Especially their operations in Edo Benin City is the worst Company in the Universe . They even Sell Power to Areas They choose to allocate electricity to .
That imagine they promise to give you 6hrs of electricity per day but do this….
If the electricity is due for 6pm to 9pm they dont give you until about 8.50pm and then take it at 9pm just like nothing happened so you get 10minutes of electricity and they have sold your 2hrs 50mins to another area ! This is a scam generating millions to individuals within the company . this is because they have been bribed and your time slot given to another area where Rich Nigerians live or Hotels and other Electricity dependent firms operate .
So in one day 6hrs turns to Twenty MINUTES from internal fraud withingthe company itself . They are the worst fraudulent Company in Nigeria . Worst Hit Areas are Residential Areas like St Peters Church Road off Second Ugbor GRA Where most small business have long since closed down ! we have even observed a BEDC man come to do short time ( have sex with a prostitute ) at a popular hotel on sokponba road . the hotel had not had electricity in 3days and when the man came he placed a call to BEDC HQ and within 3minutes the hotel had power and after about 3hrs the BEDC man left and in 5minutes BEDC took the electricity again !

The Governance Advancement Initiative for Nigeria (GAIN) has released its latest survey report of companies operating in Nigeria.
The latest survey involved companies operating in five select sectors – aviation, communications (mobile & cable), consumer goods, infrastructure and food & beverage, focusing on business to consumer (B2C) firms with extensive direct consumer services.
GAIN’s corporate survey coordinators, Malcolm Fabiyi and Adeleke Otunuga, said results were tracked across five broad categories including perceptions of community “give back” and engagement, ethical conduct, quality of products and services, brand appeal and reputation.
The categories are: CSR, categories covered by the survey included Corperate Social Responsibility (CSR), ethical conduct, quality of products & services, brand appeal and reputation.
Dangote was the adjudged overall winner among 25 Nigerian and multinational companies operating in the country, scoring 6.3 per cent.
The result is as follows:

Under CSR, the survey measured the extent of engagement of firms with communities they sell to and operate from as well as how they function as responsible corporate citizens, by giving back to the people.
Giving back to the community involves either funding community skill development centres, donation of drugs, provision of basic infrastructure, scholarships and educational endowments, among others.
The result showed Dangote as the leading CSR firm, with 8.78 per cent score, beating Globacom to second place, with 8.49 per cent. Etisalat ranked third with 6.22 per cent.
Aviation firms, Dana and Arik, were ranked 24th and 25th, the lowest in this category, with 2.05 per cent and 1.51 per cent respectively.

On the other hand, Unilever, Honeywell Group and PZ Cussons were adjudged the top three most reputable firms in Nigeria during the year.
“There seems to be a crisis of reputation and a lack of impactful community engagement by firms in the Nigerian aviation industry,” Mr. Fabiyi said.
He observed that the two aviation companies –Dana and Arik – featured on the list of 25 firms used for the survey were among the bottom three companies in the overall rankings.
With the current recession negatively impacting operations of the airlines, resulting in some international carriers suspending operations in Nigeria, Mr. Fabiyi said the outcome of the poll reflected some of the economic challenges the aviation sector was facing.
The telecommunications sector appears to be doing well in the area of CSR, with three firms operating in the sector (Globacom, Etisalat and MTN) making the top five in the category 2018 survey .
The next phase of the survey is expected to include select top performing organizations in the financial sector.
