Fela stood out in his generation because of his politically charged lyrics with which he charged Nigerians at the oppressors. Omole Ibukun is one of the most radical activist that passed through Great Ife.
He lived his life like Fela. Jailed for activism, Suspended and reinstated from campus twice, contested for student’s union presidency, persecuted, awarded Student Activist of the year 2017 on the campus and nominated nationally for the same award. No one else fits the description of a Mordern day Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
