Gmail mailbox doesn’t use the “folder” concept. Instead it use views, labels and categories. All the messages that have in the from: field .
so what to do ? what happened ?
likely you deleted your sent messages or set up a rule that deletes any email you send ! that happened to me !
Easy Fix !
Search all your folders for the last email you remember you sent so you know the folder where your emails dissappeared to . Most likely they are in the Bin folder
In whatever folder you are sure your disappeared sent emails are, search for your gmail email address eg mine is dotifing@gmail.com
in the search box in gmail
in:trash from:(dotifing@gmail.com)
select all the messages and apply to all messages
then click move to inbox
all sent emails are now miraculously back in sent emails and not even inbox !
