Novak Djokovic says he’s never played a player like Carlos Alcaraz:
“People have been talking about his game consisting of certain elements from Roger, Rafa, & myself. I’d agree with that. He’s basically got the best of all 3 worlds… I haven’t played a player like him ever
@PersimmonTI
He can do the baseline grind a la Novak, with a backhand down the line that keeps opponent guessing, and brutal, and varied, forehand.
He has the spin game, mobility and sheer “win every point” mentality of Rafa.
And the killer instinct, the go for the winner, don’t wait for the loser, shotmaker’s approach of Roger — with a forehand that can be flattened with extreme angle.
And he’s 20…
We tennis fans are truly spoiled.
