Bafana Bafana of South Africa defeated Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 in a friendly game played in Johannesburg on Tuesday. A 25th minute strike by Lyle Foster was enough to secure the win for South Africa. It was a return to winning ways for the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations winners. At the weekend they were held to a surprise 0-0 draw at home by Namibia in another friendly game.
