If you have ever wondered why I never cease preaching for a better Nigeria, it is for the future of our children. When you are over fifty your journey is nearer its end than its beginning. What should matter now is not yourself but those after you. The legacy you leave and your foot prints.

I founded a school in year 1991 and another in year 2000. I have been part of the growth of many children. Some are now medical Directors, PH.D holders, Professionals, business owners, some didn’t meet our expectations…….but I love them all. I still keep in touch with many of them and many come looking for me. Some I meet on my travels around the world and within Nigeria.

This is what living is about for me. I am at times pained that having invested so much in our children, Nigeria will not give us her best.
In my school I encourage honesty, hard work and taking pride in our achievements. It is my model of how Nigeria should be run. We respect ourselves, we respect Authority and Authortiy us expected to lead by good example. Not just barking orders we don’t adhere to.

We do not only build upon excellent academics, we aim to build the 360⁰ child. Character, social skills, attitude patriotism and good morals.
These young children have learned to trust me and I am often privileged to be the one they come to in trying to resolve what is to them, complex life problems and challenges. Many years after they have left our school, they tell me heart warming stories about their early years experiences in the school and how we impacted their lives positively. I feel fulfilled and encouraged to do more because I know we are doing enormous good. It is their testimony. We cannot afford to play a game of chance with their lives.
This is what I believe Leadership should be about. When you are in a position of authority, you must do what is pleasing in God’s eyes. This is not a religious statement. We can do good, let’s just do it.

Not all good work needs to be noisy. It is for the future of our children. In an ever challenging world, Government must step up in its responsibilities towards her citizens, especially the young ones.
We all cannot, and do not need to, be in Governmemt to do good. If we all play our part individually, collectively we will make a big difference.

A fact of this school is that is not run for profit. I do not pay myself a salary neither do I use funds from the school for my personal upkeep. Whatever is left spare is put back into the school. When I came up with the idea of founding this school, I wanted to do two things. Raise children well in a proper environment and secondly, employ people so they can in turn care for their families. I will die one day as God decrees, and my concept is that the school will continue to achieve my vision without ownership that is identified to any particular individual. We must plan for continuity, not necessarily succession. If it is the will of God it will happen so and Ojomoh Education Centre may still be a running institution 100 years from now. God put us all on this earth for different reasons and purposes. We have to discover our purpose and pursue it vigorously.
All this quarell we quarell over power and wealth, nothing leaves this world when we are gone. I believe it is best to create something that will out live us and continue for generations after we are gone.
